There is absolutely no rush to get to max level (unlike some other mmos). Your friend should realize they can play with you...at YOUR level, at whatever stage of the story you’re at. WebEven the ‘bad’ ones are way better than what’s offered in FF14. ESO’s zone quests have way more personality, better voice work and writing, and are more memorable than most of FF14. Even guild wars 2 has a much better cast of characters than FF14. I’d take Rytlock and Logan over the twins any day of the week.
WebI really do think that the social elements of FF14 greatly elevate the game. I might remember that part even more than the story, when all is said and done. My hypothesis as to why people are so friendly in FF14 is that the MSQ takes so much reading and patience that the game naturally pushes away people with undesirable qualities. WebIn FF14, you not only are the central figure of the story, but the story really goes out of their way to put you front and center. On top of that, the quality of storytelling is way better, and the NPCs have complex personalities, and you actually get attached to them and get the feels when bad things happen to them.
