WebI actually spoke too soon with my last comment. It does work, you just have to force Source SDK 2007 to use Proton, which works fine. There was a weird glitch where it loaded on my screen in 4:3 and a lower resolution and most of the screen was cut off, but I was able to open options and switch ratio to 16:9 and resolution to 1080 and it fixed it.
