Fairly realistic, not too overblown or too understated. Funny, surprising. It's a fun movie, but the takeaways are shit. I get that the movie is called "crazy Stupid Love", but some of these people really are crazy and stupid. I hate the son so much, he's so creepy and it's treated as cute that he doesn't know when to quit.

My favorite storyline was of Jacob and Hannah. Both Stone and Gosling share excellent chemistry, and sadly their relationship wasn’t given enough time to fully develop.
